Rabel Campaigns:

Rabel campaigns on issues that relate to the main aims of the organisation. This is primarily in the area of civil liberties and freedoms in the UK.

Although Rabel is a Christian organisation and ministry, we believe that all people are precious and valued, and as such should be given the freedom of will to choose their own activities, providing they do not break the standards required in any civilised society.

We campaign for the restoration and preservation of a civil libertarian state system, in which the State facilitates rather controls its citizens. We firmly believe that we should be submissive to the instituted authorities, yet also hold that the democratic processes give us an ability and responsibility to hold governmental bodies to account.

Because of these values, we use the following methods of campaigning:

• Petitions to Government and Parliament

• Letters to MP's, Lords and others in position of influence

• Public speaking, meetings and gatherings

• Rallies and demonstrations in accordance with the law of the land.

We do not support or engage in law breaking, even where we disagree with such laws, which includes civil disobedience. We will only support or do this where it is clear that the law of God would be violated by obeying Government.

Awareness Campaign:

We campaign for a general awareness of the fact that civil liberties are being degraded and eroded, and that this is part of a wider trend towards global authoritarian governance.

Police Conduct Campaign:

We are concerned at developments in policing in which the police appear to be acting as "masters" rather than servants of the people.
We are campaigning for a redress of laws and policies that would further community policing and crime fighting, rather than a politically motivated policy of preventing protest and activism.

Freedom of Speech Campaign:

We are concerned that freedom of speech has been severely curtailed in the United Kingdom.
Laws such as the Public Order Act 1984, the Racial and Religious Hatred Act 2006, and other similar laws, have given us a situation whereby a simple expression can be a criminal and arrestable offence.

Protection of Freedoms Bill

We are campaigning for successful passage of this Bill and for some important amendments, specifically on Aggravated Trespass and Freedom of Speech.
