Police Conduct Campaign

Rabel is campaigning for the police to be the servants and not the masters of the people of the UK and seek for a balanced approach and the restoration and preservation of the British model of policing based on public consent and minmal force.

We are engaged in an ongoing campaign to ensure that the police are to be regarded as the servants of the people, not their masters.

We accept that the police have a difficult and important job to do in fighting crime, yet we are firm that the police should not abuse their powers, nor be given powers beyond their remit.

We have concerns regarding the policing that took place in 2009 at Kingsnorth, the G20 summit and similar events, as well as concerns over the Association of Chief Police Officers (a limited company, not a government body), and concerns over the targeting of political activists of mainstream causes being labelled, harassed, monitored, and intimidated as "domestic extremists".

A number of articles have been written which may be viewed on the WebPaper.

You can also read the correspondence to date at the link to the left.

Action Point 1:

Please do pray for the police, that they may be encouraged to be wise in their fight against crime and that their attitude may be that of servants.
Please pray especially that they would take their responsibility to be facilitators of democracy and liberty seriously.
